These guys are always glaring at me. I guess they consider it rude of me to take their photos without asking, first. I believe this is the same species of burrowing owl, but different specimens than my previous shots, but it could also be a different species. They seemed much smaller this last time.
The frame is sort of an experiment. I didn't like either black or white "matting" with this image. What do you think of it?
Hi My Dear Twin I think you should ad a black contour line around the edge of the photo in order to define its eges - it would separate it from this border which blends into the photo - I find it to help a lot with certain pieces of mine - it's your choice but this is my subjective opinion cuz of having to deal with my own piece
I think maybe the bored should be reversed or otherwise there should be a thin black line on the inside of the frame because it does seem to blend into the photo. I love how the owl is centred in the photo and it seems to add a dramaticness to it.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. I'm not a big fan of the frame style, but I know lots of people like it and use it.
