This is a crappy shot, and will end up in Scraps soon, but the behavior is so interesting I wanted to share it.
These are Red Ruffed Lemurs, and they really are doing their morning warmups. Not aerobics, but basking. They have that black fur on their bellies for this purpose. Black absorbs heat better, and warms up faster, than other colors. So, by "embracing the sun" they warm up as quickly as possible after a cold night. Sure is cute, too
