Artist's Comments
A semi-panoramic view of a stand of Saguaro cacti along the Apache Trail in sunset-ish light late in the afternoon. I had to remove some power lines in PS, but at least they were easily removed. Most of the really spectacular views along the the Trail have been spoiled by utility lines. And the air pollution was so bad, that we didn't really have a sunset. It just sort of faded into the gloom.
Well, they're good medium-sized mature saguaros. The taller ones in this scene are probably 25 feet high. The really giant ones reach 50 feet. But, it is a nice stand of them.
